I Am an Expert on Irish Whiskey

Yes I have had all of them. All three. Don't argue with me, there are only three Irish whiskeys.

Here I rank them:

1) Tullamore Dew. The best of the three. Nicely mellow with a cleaner finish than the other two.

2) Bushmills. The only reason I rank this second is because to me it resembles more of a Scottish-style whiskey. Smokier finish than the others and much more oakey. Not as popular since its made in Northern Ireland, and 4th generation "Irish Americans" here in the States boycott it to "keep it real".

3) Jameson. The only reason this is third is because Black Velvet is from Canada. If BV were Irish, Jameson would be fourth. No wonder its primary use is half of the shot in an Irish Carbomb. Nasty.
