I Am Lame, There is No Hope For You

That's right, I admit it. I am lame.

Yesterday at work I was watching the Red Sox-Blue Jays game through an internet feed I get from MLB.com. (Which isn't a bad deal by the way. I get to see 4-6 games a week for $15 a month.)

There was an advertisement on the page for this thing where you can have team logos put on your mobile phone as your wallpaper, and it's like $2. I was going to do it, but noticed that it works with every service EXCEPT for Verizon.

I got all mad. For five seconds I disregarded the fact that I get crystal clear reception, coverage EVERYWHERE, (even in the Berkshires!) and never have had billing disputes, and hated Verizon simply because I couldn't have a dumb "B" as my wallpaper.

After that brief period of me thinking like a typical person, I remembered that it was a mobile phone, and it's purpose is to be a mobile phone, and Verizon is very good at providing an excellent mobile phone service.

I imagine most people walk around thinking and acting like this all the time. There is no hope for you.

All in all it was a humbling experience.
