My Two Cents...
There has been a lot of talk about where to move the Expos. As always, I have the answer.
Buffalo, NY.
Having lived in Buffalo I can tell you this: Buffalo is a run down, blue collar, sports crazy city. It's been described as a "drinking town with a sports problem." No one in the city has any money, but getting Bills tickets is next to impossible and the Sabres sell out every night. Hell, the Indians' AAA team there draws 15,000 a night. (Don't talk about basketball though...they're STILL mad at the Buffalo Braves for becoming the Clippers.) As far as who they follow baseball-wise, it's kinda mixed. There are a lot of Yankee, Met, Blue Jay and Indian fans there, who I'm sure would all turn around to support a home town team.
This also makes sense because the Expos could stay in the east and no realignment would be necessary.
Moving the Expos to Buffalo makes perfect sense.
