I'm Disappointed

Ok so Vlad Guerrero won the AL MVP. That's fine because he's probably the best player in the American league, (yes Gay-Rod fans, I said it,)and he single handedly won the last week of the regular season for the Angels. What's disappointing is that Gary Sheffield was the overwhelming choice for second.

You see, the V in MVP stands for "valuable." Would the Angels have won the division had they still had Jeff Davanon starting in right? No.

Would the Yankkkees have bullied their way into first and choked in the ALCS had they had Raul Mondesi in right? Yes.

Would Boston had come even CLOSE to the post season minus the bat of either Ramirez or Ortiz? No.

Heck Sheff was the one who lit the fire under Boston's ass with his wise ass comment that:
"They(The Red Sox)are a walking disaster. They act like they're tough, how they care so much about winning. But it's all a front. They're just a bunch of characters. They know what we're all about. We can still beat them and they know it. Let's see what they do this time when it counts."

(Thanks for that I guess Gary.)
