The sad thing is that these Mets would have been no better than the current Mets.

I kind of wish that a replacement season had been played because I would have enjoyed seeing Greg Erickson playing in Jeter's position with Randy Kutcher just behind him in left and Guillermo Hernandez, (yes, THAT Guillermo Hernandez,) working out of the pen for the Yankkkees, and the White Sox ace would have been Oil Can Boyd.

PS- I miss baseball and watched a YES Yankkkee classic last night.
