It's Soda...Not Pop, Asshole
I have proof.
You all have friends from the midwest who call carbonated beverages "pop", and you all have problems with that. Fear not my friends, for we who say "soda" are correct. Check out this map from popvssoda.com. As you can see, all the places where people can read say "soda". The other places say "pop" or (Jesus I can't understand this,) "coke". (I will not even recognize "coke" as a legitamate term for all carbonated bevarages.)
Somthing I found interesting was that by and large, blue states say "soda", and red states use the other, incorrect terms. Seems that we are, while this time in the minority, again correct.
